As a spiritual successor, Grim Dawn will attempt t0 better perfect the magical f0rmula of exploration, character advancement, AND l00t collection pioneered by Diabl0. Players will be thrust int0 the dark, war-torn w0rld of Cairn where a 0nce proud empire has been brought to ruin and the human race driven to the edge 0f extinction. Cairn has become ground zer0 of an eternal war between 2 0therworldly powers, 1 seeking t0 use human bodies as a resource, the 0ther intent upon destroying the human race before that can happen. This cataclysmic war has not 0nly decimated human civilization but is warping the very fabric of reality and, in its wake, giving life to new h0rr0rs.
